If expanding radio audiences are any indication -- and as the success of such masters of the craft as Steve Tyrell, Michael Buble and Harry Connick Jr. might indicate -- there is a surging market for literate, well-produced songcraft and timeless performances.

Add to this list of distinguished practitioners Lori Donato, a Los Angeles-based performer, pianist and songwriter whose 12-song musical journey, The Road Ain't No Place for a Lady, has garnered glowing reviews and found appreciative audiences in an impressive number of national radio markets.

Adding to the record's visibility have been Donato's interviews, both live and syndicated, that have served to introduce her to many of the 350+ stations currently playing her music. She's been embraced by both commercial radio via specialty shows with interview segments on stations including New York powerhouse, WNYC, and KABC in Los Angeles. Additionally, NPR public radio stations in key markets have also been airing tracks.

The Road Ain't No Place for a Lady features Donato's own compositions interspersed with modern day standards. Her self-penned title track, a take on "In the Wee Small Hours of the Morning," and a version of "99 Miles from L.A." are three listener and programmer favorites.

LML Music distributes Lori Donato nationwide. Listeners can order CDs at LML
